Firstly I want to thank Passion4FM for showing off one of my tactics again and thank you for reading my post. After the release of the Unbelievable 4-2-3-1 Football Manager 2023 Tactic feat. Volante Attack, I’m back with another overpowered tactic you need to try!
It’s still another Goals Galore tactic because let’s be honest who doesn’t like scoring goals and don’t worry it’s not bad defensively either. Last year on FM22 my favourite position was a roaming playmaker so I had to fit one in on this tactic and it works a treat.

The Player Roles of “Jurassic Park” Tactic
Goalkeeper
Role: Sweeper Keeper – Defend
Instructions: Tackle harder
The Sweeper Keeper regularly pushes high up the pitch in order to control the space behind the defence. Taking on a more active role in assisting the team with attacks and maintaining possession. With defend on the keeper will be more cautious.
Center Backs
Role: Ball Playing Defender – Defend
Instructions: Dribble more, Tackle harder
Ball Playing Defender is to stop the opposing attackers from playing and to clear the ball from danger when required. However, unlike standard central defenders, the Ball Playing Defender is encouraged to launch defence splitting through balls from deep to generate counter-attacking opportunities.
Left Back
Role: Inverted Wing-Back – Support
Instructions: Dribble more, Tackle harder
Right Back
Role: Inverted Wing-Back – Support
Instructions: Dribble more, Tackle harder
Inverted wing backs start in the same position as the more regular wing backs, but rather than running up and down the flanks, they will drift inwards when the team is in possession to create an extra body in the midfield.
Defensive Midfielder
Role: Roaming Playmaker – Support
Instructions: Move into channels
The roaming playmaker is the heartbeat of his team, driving forward with the ball to spearhead attacks as well as tracking back to cover defensively.
Inverted Winger – AMR/L
Role: Inverted Winger – Support
Instructions: Stay wider, Tackle harder
The inverted winger aims to frequently cut inside into the attacking third to open up space for overlapping full-backs and to subsequently overload retreating defenders.
Shadow Striker
Instructions: Tackle harder
Shadow Striker pushes up and tries to get in goal scoring opportunities
Advance Forward AF – CL/CR
Role: Advanced Forward – Attack
